This mushaf-ı sheriff written in naskh script by the order of Sultan Mahmud I (Cemaziyyelahir 1146/1733)

During the reign of Sultan Abdulaziz, a mushaf-ı sheriff was decided to be published and a commission established by examining the mushafs in the palace, selecting this mushaf, and decided to print it and realized the printing.

It is an important work in terms of being the first mushaf-ı sheriff published during the Ottoman period. This second edition of this mushaf-i sheriff; it has been completed with high printing technology and as a result of a long preparatory work, it has become a special edition for collectors.
